| Company history THIS IS OUR 60TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR
Portage Polishing was established in 1946 by Clarence J. Wisniewski and two partners. Clem bought out the partners in a couple years and purchased the property at 3195 E65th st. on the southeast side of Cleveland Ohio from which we are still operating. I married Clems daughter Pat in 1966 and learned almost everything I know about running a small polishing business in the following years. With his passing in 1977 we took over the operation of the company.
Pat & I enjoy traveling, fine dining and combining the two with friends. We have a pair of bearded collies, Woody and Willy who we occasionally show when we can find the time. we are members of the Lorain county kennel club. Below is a picture of the "boys".
